People Profilers was founded in Singapore in 2002, initially as a sole proprietorship established by Matthew Lim. People Profilers Pte. Ltd. was incorporated in 2006, while dedicated executive search and HR services entities were subsequently established in 2010. The group reports more than 23 years of Singapore recruitment experience.

Its Singapore recruitment businesses hold two Ministry of Manpower Employment Agency licences. People Profilers Pte. Ltd. operates under EA Licence 02C4944, while People Profilers (Executive Search) Pte. Ltd. operates under EA Licence 10C3804 for senior leadership and executive search assignments.

People Profilers currently reports recruitment coverage across 15 specialist industries, including banking and financial services, healthcare, biotechnology, IT, semiconductors, logistics, construction, aerospace, marine and offshore, and oil and gas. Six recruitment models are offered, covering general recruitment, executive search, RPO, contract staffing, IT staff augmentation and remote talent.

The company has also developed into a regional HR group. It reports serving more than 2,000 companies and operating through nine locally licensed entities across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. One published RPO example states that People Profilers completed 43 hires for a regional eCommerce client during 2020 and 2021.
