RecruitFirst is a recruitment and staffing company that launched its Singapore business in 2013. Group Managing Director Jacelyn Chua spearheaded the Singapore launch with an initial team of three, and the local operation has since grown to more than 70 consultants. Across its wider network, RecruitFirst reports more than 150 consultants operating across eight Asian cities and recruitment coverage spanning 23 specialisations. These include healthcare, education, life sciences, IT and telecommunications, banking, financial services, logistics, manufacturing, engineering, retail and government-linked organisations. The company also reports placing more than 11,000 roles each year.

Its recruitment services cover temporary, contract and permanent placements, executive search, payroll, recruitment process outsourcing and wider talent management. RecruitFirst says candidates go through at least two rounds of interviews before shortlisted profiles are presented to employers, while onboarding and employment administration can be handled digitally.

Technology forms a noticeable part of its operating model. RecruitFirst has developed tools including CANDID for candidate information, ELLA for electronic appointment letters, KnockKnock for attendance management and eToS for digital contracts. RecruitFirst is also part of HRnetGroup, a Singapore-listed recruitment group with 20 brands operating across 18 Asian cities.
